William Greahsm was a sea captain as early as 1511when he commanded a vessel which ailed to the mediterranean Sea trafficked amon the Geek islands and Asia minor collection up the rich merchandise of the East as silk, etc. He was a member of the Association of Mercers of London and navigated the seas in their interests.
