Caleb was born about 1739 as his father made his will on 29 January 1738/9.
3933 He is not mentioned in his father's will so was apparently born after he died. Caleb Floyd died after 1812, probably in Stokes County, NC.
3934Caleb Floyd is listed with his siblings and half siblings in the list of children of Zeporah Hilliard Floyd Baker in the Quaker Gunpowder Monthly Meeting records.
3935 Many Quakers became Baptists after leaving Maryland, but Caleb's affiliation in North Carolina is not known.
He married Ann Maynard, daughter of Henry Maynard and Larrade Hammond. Caleb Floyd is named in the estate records of Ann's grandfather, Thomas John Hammond. Caleb and Ann supposedly had seven children: Sally, Henry, Betsey, Anna, Thomas, Jonathan and Rachel.
